Cuttable SVGs
"Cuttable SVGs" (also known as paper piecing) are SVG files layered specifically for use in cutting machine software to cut the illustration's shapes out of paper. Then, by layering the shapes, you add dimension to your paper crafts.
Watch this short :46 second musical animation demonstrating how you stack the separate layers from bottom to top once the paper is cut . I used four different colored papers in this video. You can see all of my tutorial videos on my youTube channel here!
Choosing a variety of paper will give you an assortment of looks. Above are a few I created.
Why are the Cuttable SVG files in grayscale? That's because digital color isn't necessary. These files are used for their shapes. The color is in the paper you choose to cut the shapes.
